"Health & Protection: Mobile Response for Community Resilience in Kharkiv Region"

The project was designed to address the multifaceted crisis in frontline communities in the Kharkiv region, where the war has severely damaged infrastructure and limited access to essential services. We are strengthening community resilience through the work of mobile teams that provide medical, social, legal, and psychological services directly in remote communities
Main Areas of Assistance
- Medical support: two Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) are in operation, providing consultations with family doctors and telemedicine services to connect patients with specialists in specific fields.
- Social Protection and Case Management: The Mobile Social Protection Team (MSPT) conducts individual needs assessments, assists with obtaining medications and hygiene supplies, and helps with registration in humanitarian programs.
- Psychosocial support: Individual and group sessions to help manage stress and emotional exhaustion.
- Legal Assistance: Consultations on the replacement of lost documents (personal and property-related) and social benefits; payment for legal services (court fees, notary services, fees for accessing government registries, obtaining archival records or duplicate documents, and administrative fees)
- Training (Capacity Building): Workshops on first aid, guidelines for caring for bedridden patients, and burnout prevention for local professionals

Assistance is available to community residents who belong to vulnerable groups:

Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)

People with disabilities and those with limited mobility

Seniors (age 65 and older)

Women (especially widows and single mothers)

Specialists from local agencies (healthcare professionals, educators, social workers) as part of training programs.
