Cancer Medication Aid
Delivering life-saving treatments when everything else breaks down
We launched the Ukraine Cancer Relief program – to ensure that patients across the country, including in frontline and liberated areas, receive continuous, free access to chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and essential oncology medications.
What we do
- Provide cancer medications free of charge to patients who cannot access or afford treatment.
- Pre-stock and reserve critical drugs in advance, ensuring continuity of care even during escalations.
- Coordinate secure distribution in high-risk areas through our cold-chain system and underground storage (Pharma Bunkers).
- Respond rapidly to urgent individual requests and verified prescriptions from healthcare providers.

Impact so far
- 9,118 medication distributions completed, delivering 47,232 units of oncology drugs to patients since February 2022
- Over 1.93 billion UAH in oncology medication and care delivered
- Medications distributed include high-cost therapies such as Anastrozole, Bicalutamid, Carboplatine, Carmustine, Oxaliplatine, Rituximab, Trastuzumab, Cyclophosphamide, Acalabrutinib and Keytruda
- Active across Kharkiv, lviv, Dnipro, Kyiv and other affected regions
Stories that define our work
These are just four of thousands of cases where timely support made the difference between interruption and survival.
“With my pension of just 3600 UAH, I simply couldn’t afford these medications. Mission Kharkiv became my only hope.”
Olena
“Without your help, treatment would have been impossible. You gave us hope.”
Hanna
“The medicines I receive from the organization are of excellent quality and would normally cost a fortune. I can’t imagine getting through this without your support.”
Olha
“This support has really eased our life — because now, everything revolves around money.”

How it works
Our approach is built on coordination, safety, and transparency:
- We receive verified prescriptions from oncologists and healthcare providers.
- Our pharmacists manage secure medication handover, storage, and tracking.
- Deliveries are matched to individual treatment cycles to prevent gaps in therapy.
- Priority is given to patients in high-risk or recently liberated zones.
- All medications are stored under controlled temperature and humidity with full traceability.
In a country where one in three cancer diagnoses is made at a late stage, and access to specialized treatment is extremely limited outside major cities, our Cancer Medication Aid program bridges the survival gap.
