Basic treatment should never be out of reach – even in war
The full-scale invasion of Ukraine has left millions without stable access to even the most essential medical care. Health facilities have been destroyed or damaged, supply chains disrupted, and thousands of people – especially those living near the front lines – are now dependent on humanitarian assistance for basic medications and clinical supplies.
At Mission Kharkiv, we believe healthcare must continue – even under fire. That’s why we run a dedicated General Medicine program to systematically supply healthcare facilities across the Kharkiv region with essential drugs, medical equipment, and emergency supplies.
Program Highlights:
- Supporting over 150 clinics and hospitals
- Prioritizing liberated and frontline communities
- Providing medications for chronic diseases, pain management, infections, and more
- Supplying wound care materials, disinfectants, basic diagnostics, and first aid tools
- Coordinating closely with doctors and healthcare workers on the ground
- Distributing aid based on verified needs and medical prescriptions

- More than 60,000 patients served through supported health facilities
- 44,176,880 UAH worth of medical aid delivered under this program
- Expanded services for displaced populations, rural areas, and vulnerable groups

Initially launched as a rapid response to the collapse of pharmaceutical logistics in Kharkiv, the General Medicine program has since evolved into a sustained medical lifeline for communities cut off from national systems.
