Job Description

Mission Kharkiv is one of the largest medical charitable organizations in Ukraine, providing systematic support to adult patients with oncological diseases. Since 2022, the organization has implemented large-scale programs including medication supply, patient transportation and evacuation, first aid, hygiene kits, psychosocial support for beneficiaries, and capacity building for medical personnel.

The Medical Training Specialist is an experienced professional responsible for organizing and conducting first aid training, monitoring training quality, and providing methodological support for educational processes within the organization’s humanitarian projects.

Key Responsibilities

Training Organization and Monitoring

  • Monitor the implementation of training sessions and ensure proper conditions for their conduct.
  • Organize the issuance of first aid certificates with CPR credits.
  • Maintain documentation, track attendance, and monitor participants’ performance.

Medical Support

  • Check and monitor the availability and condition of medical equipment, first aid kits, and personal protective equipment.
  • Conduct briefings for new staff on basic first aid knowledge and procedures.

Methodological and Educational Work

  • Develop training materials and educational programs.
  • Ensure training plans and materials remain current and relevant.
  • Introduce participants to best safety practices.
  • Apply interactive teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.

Reporting and Administration

  • Analyze training effectiveness, assess knowledge retention, and prepare reports.
  • Collect information according to donor requirements for beneficiary lists.

Requirements

  • Higher education (Bachelor’s or Master’s). Medical education is an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience.
  • Certified first aid instructor or equivalent documentation.
  • Proficiency in Ukrainian.
  • Ability to transfer knowledge effectively and develop participants’ practical skills and competencies.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to apply interactive teaching methods.
  • Experience in developing training programs and/or teaching methodology.
  • Certification in first aid/tactical medicine instruction is a plus.
