Mission Kharkiv is one of the largest medical charitable organizations in Ukraine in terms of the volume of assistance provided. One of the key areas of our work is the systematic support of adult patients with cancer.

Since 2022, our organization has implemented large-scale programs for the supply of medicines, patient transportation and evacuation, provision of first aid, distribution of hygiene kits, as well as psychosocial support for beneficiaries and strengthening the capacity of medical personnel.

Role Summary:
The Legal Services Manager (Mobile Team) provides individual legal consultations to people in frontline areas who require legal assistance. The role involves providing secondary legal support, managing legal cases, preparing procedural documents, and accompanying clients, including but not limited to recovery of lost documents, establishing legal facts, and restoring violated rights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual legal consultations to people in frontline areas who need legal assistance, including recovery of lost documents, establishing legal facts, and restoring violated rights.
• Provide secondary legal support and manage legal cases, including preparation of procedural documents and client accompaniment, in cooperation with local authorities where necessary.
• Conduct informational sessions for the public and other stakeholders.
• Ensure safe referral of clients according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential documentation in line with data protection standards.
• Prepare documentation and reports on services provided and results achieved.
• Liaise with local authorities, humanitarian organizations, and other actors to ensure comprehensive client support and improved access to protection services.
• Adhere to the organization’s Code of Ethics, protection principles, and standards for client and partner interaction.

Requirements:

• Higher legal education.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the legal field (civil law / administrative law / documents / IDPs / court practice).
• Experience working in humanitarian organizations is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possession of a lawyer’s certificate is a plus.
• Skills in drafting procedural documents.
• Strong knowledge of current Ukrainian legislation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Understanding of confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel).
