Job Description
Mission Kharkiv is one of the largest medical charitable organizations in Ukraine in terms of the volume of aid provided. One of the key areas of our work is the systemic support of adult patients with oncological diseases.

Since 2022, our organization has implemented large-scale programs for the delivery of medicines, transportation and evacuation of patients, provision of first aid, distribution of hygiene kits, as well as psychosocial support for beneficiaries and strengthening the capacity of medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management and Implementation:

  • Ensure timely achievement of social protection project indicators and track progress toward goals.
  • Supervise and manage social workers in delivering comprehensive social protection services, including identification, registration, care planning, referrals, direct service provision, and case closure.
  • Ensure compliance with Case Management Guidelines, Minimum Standards for Protection, and Core Humanitarian Principles.
  • Conduct case audits, and monitor project planning and implementation.
  • Maintain up-to-date service mapping for referrals and coordinate with external service providers.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and donor requirements.
  • Collaborate with the MEAL team to track and analyze project data for evidence-based decision-making.
  • Prepare high-quality donor reports and internal reports, ensuring accurate case management documentation.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with government institutions, NGOs, and community networks, including developing memoranda of understanding.

Staff Leadership, Mentorship, and Support:

  • Provide guidance and support to social protection mobile teams and case management staff, ensuring effective performance management and professional development.
  • Oversee procurement and administrative processes related to project implementation.
  • Monitor mobile team schedules in compliance with CBFM rules and donor requirements.
  • Track work plans and indicator achievements.
  • Maintain project documentation, including reporting required by the project.

Requirements:

  • Higher education in social work, social pedagogy, psychology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in social services or related fields in humanitarian settings.
  • Experience in team leadership and working with partners and government stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality principles and handling personal data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing teams and working with partners and government stakeholders.
  • English proficiency at least at B1 level.
  • Practical experience in organizing administrative and business processes.
  • Experience in project management, reporting, and budget tracking.
